EMC provides premium customer service on their storage servers deployed
on customer sites with stringent security requirements. On-site service was costly and time
consuming. A secure remote access is highly desired.
Leveraging our expertise in security management, Soteria Networks provided
a federated SAML implementation integrated with the "Ping Home" feature, thus enabled EMC and
and its customers to jointly control remote access to the storage servers. The system would
save 22,000 man-hours per year equivalent to a net profit of $2,200,000, and achieve double
growth in customer satisfaction and goodwill.
“We couldn’t have done it without the expertise from Soteria Networks.”
Dell and EMC completed the merger in 2016 so that they could offer
both personal and enterprise computing products to their perspective customers. It's crucial
to bridge the sales portals of both companies and enable cross sell as soon as possible.
In view of the fact that both parties use SAML IDP as the authentication
method, Soteria Networks worked with DELL/EMC engineering team and developed a SAML service provider.
It establishes the trust with a token conversion between the two systems, thus achieved seamless
transition experience between the two business entities. This elegant solution made an
increase of $28 billion possible.
“The guys from Soteria Networks are awesome! They deliver quality work.”
After adding an ERP system, the customer wanted to ride the momentum and build
a smart factory with more digital solutions. The specific interests include
advanced planning and scheduling, machine data dashboard and batch quality tracking.
The team consists of our two subsidiary companies in China and the domain experts
